Sensei diane coombs

I was born in Wales in the seaside town of Porthcawl in June of 1964 . 

My Mother taught Yoga and had practiced some Karate, which I had an interest in.

In the summer of 1995 I joined a self defence class.

After the course had finished I carried on and joined the karate school of Sensei Steve Carter.  

My then teacher wished to find a higher level of Martial arts which led me to the home dojo of Chris Clifford Sensei.

I was introduced to Yonemoto Sensei during one of his many trips to visit Chris Clifford Sensei.

Received 1st Dan Certificate in 2001 from Chris Clifford Sensei issued by the late Master Ichikawa Sosui.

Studied and practiced with the late Grand master Ichikawa Sosui.

Member Sosuikan dojo, Ueno, Tokyo, Japan.

Studied in the UK, Thailand and Laos Chris Clifford Sensei.

Received my Copy Bubishi 2021 (first female within our schools lineage)

I continue my practice from my teacher Chris Clifford Sensei.

In 2022 with permission along with My Sempai Sensei Dean McAlister we opened dojo in Gillingham, Kent, UK.
